AT A GLANCE

My Bass Pro

I designed the experience strategy and interface concept as part of a pitch team, exploring how personalization could shape an iOS shopping experience.

WHAT THE WORK DELIVERED

A mobile shopping concept, supporting visual direction, high-fidelity mockups, and an interactive prototype for the pitch.

THE BRIEF

Make a broad catalog feel personal.

I was part of a pitch team responsible for a proposed iOS app for Bass Pro enthusiasts. My role covered experience strategy and design, with high-fidelity mockups and an interactive prototype to communicate the concept.

The idea was to let customers personalize the experience around their interests, supported by tailored offers and loyalty points. The pitch focused on making that personalized shopping direction tangible.

PERSONALIZATION

Let customers shape their own feed.

The customization screen makes interests explicit, with categories such as fishing, hunting, camping, clothing, and footwear. Sorting options sit alongside those preferences. The proposed experience gives customers a visible way to influence what appears in their feed.

The shopping view separates “Weather Offers,” “For You,” and “Your Weekly Ad.” Together, those areas communicate different kinds of relevance: the customer’s interests, promotional content, and outdoor conditions.

MOBILE & BRAND

Carry the shopping experience across a small screen.

The bottom navigation keeps Home, My Bass Pro, Favorites, and Cart available across the app concept. Product details place size, quantity, and color options alongside Favorite and Add to Cart actions.

The visual direction draws on Bass Pro’s green and earth tones, retail pricing cues, and outdoor photography. The style guide collects brand marks, typography, colors, and icons so the concept reads as a connected experience.

SCOPE & REFLECTION

A tangible proposal for the next stage.

The deliverables made the proposed mobile experience concrete for the pitch: a personalized shopping direction, high-fidelity screens, and an interactive prototype.

The intended next step was to gather customer feedback and refine the experience in later updates. The concept remained a pitch-stage exploration; customer validation and launch were outside the work shown here.
